About Aditya
Among the Top Congressional Debaters in the Nation
As IHSA State Finalist (the youngest in his school's history), 3x Glenbrooks National Tournament Semi-Finalist (also youngest in his school's history), 2x ICTA/IDC Top Speaker, and member of the 2018 IHSA All-State team (top 10 in IL), Aditya was one of the best high school Congressional debaters in Illinois. Aditya also has amassed hundreds of hours coaching other students in the art of Congressional debate: as Captain of one of the largest teams in the state, he led his high school to one of the longest sweepstakes award streaks in Illinois history. At Stanford, Aditya was one of the earliest members of and helped scale the Girard Society, Stanford's philosophical debate society based on counterparts at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and other Ivy League schools. It is currently one of the most successful collegiate debate societies in the country.
Stanford Graduate with Near Perfect Scores
Aditya matriculated to Stanford University in 2020 and graduated in 2024. Prior to his acceptance, Aditya earned a 36 ACT (out of 36), a 1570 on his SAT (out of 1600), and 10 perfect scores on AP exams. He also volunteered as a tutor for low-income students, founded his high school's environment club, served as one of five Officers in his school's National Honors Society chapter, and interned at the Borgen Project (5% acceptance rate), through which he lobbied members of Congress like Rep. Sean Casten to cosponsor key legislation.
From Politics to Startup Founder
While Aditya's career interests began in politics, he quickly developed a passion for tech entrepreneurship. Initially, Aditya spent time in Washington, D.C. as the only out-of-state intern for Senator Josh Hawley, one of the most active members of the Senate. Currently, Aditya is building Gatsby, a startup creating AI-powered software to automate and algorithmize the process of event creation. On the side, Aditya is the founder and chairman of the Hamilton Society, a debate society in San Francisco modeled after the debate societies at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, and other Ivy League universities. He is currently expanding the Society and working with political and business leaders to make the Hamilton Society the center of intellectual life in the city.
